Rejection when applying #197914

I have waited a couple of days and its still rejecting me because the proof of enrollment doesn't seem to be good enough. They don't issue physical ID's right now and everything I submit get rejected. I am pretty sure its due to being required to take a picture of something I can't print. |

I am having a similar problem but on the teachers side. I am a scientific employee who wants to apply too. Therefore i registered with an unpersonal, but institutional email adress belonging to our university of applied sciences. nevertheless the system does not accept my application letter at all. I uploaded multiple versions of it to satisfy the system finally, but it anyways was rejected. I am very frustrated and i tend to giving up. Why is the process not taking the institutional email address as the main aspect to join the education program? |

Thanks Nick, I might have to have someone print the documents for me. I have tried three different methods of using a camera and screen to take the picture. Also your suggestion of trying to get the camera trick to work isn't working for me. I have as stated an iPhone 15 and I have tried it on an amazon fire hd8, lenovo chromebook and none of them seem to be working. This is the response I am getting now.

Hi @w8wot, Based on the rejection message you shared, it sounds like the issue is no longer the photo quality itself. The verifier is specifically saying that it cannot find all of the required information in the document. Before submitting again, make sure your document clearly contains all of the following in a single image (or multiple documents combined into one image if allowed):
Since your school doesn't issue physical IDs, an official enrollment verification document is usually stronger evidence than a student ID anyway. One thing I'd double-check is your GitHub profile name and billing information. The rejection message repeatedly mentions name mismatches. Even small differences (middle names, abbreviations, nicknames, initials, suffixes, etc.) can cause automated verification to fail. If you've already verified that all four requirements are present and clearly visible, then you may be running into a false rejection from the automated system. In that case, I would recommend opening a GitHub Education support ticket and attaching the exact rejection message along with an explanation that your institution does not provide physical student IDs and that you've already attempted multiple compliant submissions. For others experiencing the same issue, it may help to compare the rejection reason carefully against the document rather than focusing solely on image quality. Hi everyone,
I have applied so many times it has triggered the wait XX days to re-apply. Problem I am having is that I am being asked to take a picture of a document I can't print and when I attempt to take a picture of it with my iPhone on my computer it give a pretty basic rejected for reasons, like name doesn't match or logo is not letterhead. I can understand both of those but if I could just upload these documents instead of taking a horrible picture it wouldn't be an issue.
